Based on the principles of the old mortar, CrushGrind started as an idea in 1987 with a goal to be more than just a pepper mill. The idea was simple - to create a better grinder than anything available on the market, enabling consumers to grind all sorts of dried herbs and spices, thereby releasing the essential oils from spices and deriving the full aroma. The first CrushGrind mill was bought to market in 1994, and was the worlds first ceramic grinder mechanism. Since them many of the worlds leading brands use the CrushGrind ceramic mechanism in their own mills including the likes of German powerhouse WMF and to date they have produced over 80 million grinders and counting!

While we try to have most products in our store and warehouse at all times if the product is not in stock we will order from our New Zealand-based suppliers. We will contact you to advise you of this and inform you of any delivery delays.

Returns
Home Essentials makes returns easy by letting you return your purchase to us within 100 days for a full refund or exchange. All you have to do is get it back to us. Please note that for us to accept a return, the product just needs to be unopened, unused, undamaged and in the original packaging.
