The Kilner Glassworks was established in 1842 by John Kilner in Thornhill Lees, England and right from the very start they focused on producing quality bottles, jars, and apothecary items. The Kilner Jar was introduced in 1900 with their famous patented vacuum seal system and is still produced all these years later. Many of us remember our grandparents preserving fruit in these jars on the kitchen bench.

Made to last and never single use, Kilner continues to tackle plastic waste with their ethos of Reduce, Reuse, Refill & Recycle. Sustainability is at the heart of everything they do at Kilner.
